Description
Liberty AV's 24-4P-P-L5-EN-ORG-BX is a 1,000-foot box of orange Category 5e U/UTP plenum cable from the company's EN Series a workhorse infrastructure cable for AV and IT installations where the pathway runs through an air-handling space with a plenum-rated jacket.
Cat5e construction tested to 350 MHz
Construction follows established Cat5e practice i.e., 24 AWG solid annealed bare copper conductors with fluoropolymer insulation, four pairs twisted in varying lays to control crosstalk, and a plenum-rated jacket.
The cable is built to TIA/EIA-568-C Category 5e and tested to 350 MHz, comfortably above the 100 MHz the standard requires, which provides useful margin on longer runs. It is also works in electrically noisy environments. It carries NEC type CMP, CEC type CMP FT6 ratings and is RoHS compliant.
