Description
The ACE Backstage ISO22BAC is a mounting platform designed for installing equipment that requires its mounting points to be isolated from vibration. These include devices like dimmer modules, relays, and power supplies. The intuitive design of the ISO22BAC meets the exact needs of its users and environments, reflecting the brand’s commitment to practical designs and product durability.
The ISO22BAC replaces the standard solid back of the ISO22 utility box with a full-width steel back access panel, offering unobstructed access to internal wiring and components of the mounted devices. Instead of a closed back, it features a large opening for easier installation and servicing. A pre-installed vibration-isolating bracket allows sensitive audio and AV equipment to be securely mounted in a way that reduces the transmission of mechanical noise and vibration to the surrounding structure.
Constructed from heavy-duty, welded 14-gauge cold-rolled steel, this Back Access Cover is finished with an electrodeposited clear zinc coating for corrosion protection. The design and material are strictly in accordance with ASTM B633 and comparable military-grade specifications. It is UL Listed, as having been safety tested against nationally recognized standards.
The isolation bracket is preinstalled as part of this BAC. It is designed to decouple the mounted parts from its solid metal chassis mechanically. The isolation bracket is made of non-conductive hardware, vibration-dampening grommets, and isolating spacers to prevent interference. The structuring of the BAC makes it ideal for sensitive uses in professional AV installations.
Back Access Covers are designed for use with ACE full-size Stage Pockets Series 122, 222, 322 and other compatible floor boxes. They support conduit connection, voltage isolation, and provide connector strain relief, especially in raised-floor installations where a standard rough-in box is not used.
