Description
The Kramer VP-558 is a multi-format presentation switcher and scaler, as well as a 11x4 matrix switcher. The inputs include 6 HDMI inputs, 4 HDBaseT inputs, 1 VGA input, and an integrated 4x1 USB switcher. There are 4 independent 1080P scaled outputs, each output includes an HDBaseT connection or an HDMI connection. Choose HDMI out for close sources, or the HDBaseT out to send your signal over a single Cat6 connection up to 230' away to a compatible receiver.
The Kramer VP-558 also includes a microphone input for selectable microphone talkover or mix modes, a monitor output, and audio DSP features. The matrix switcher can be controlled from the front panel buttons, RS-232, Ethernet via embedded web pages, or an easy to use on screen display (OSD). Use the audio inputs if needed for emebedded audio, or the 4 audio de-embedded S/PDIFF output if you need to send your audio to a local amplifier. The integrated 2x10W amplifier with speaker outputs make this switcher a multi-function device for any room.
