Description
The FSR FL-2000-B is an ideal floor box when you need a pour box for concrete and you need to install custom punched plates in the unit for your power, data, audio and video. The box measures 12x10x6 and is used for carpet or thin tile applications to add a seamless look in your room.
The FL-2000-B consists of 4 pieces: a seam-welded box, a screw on cover, an internal bracket, and your choice of insert plates. The cover is manufactured from 1/8" plate with hinges. To aid the contractor in the multiple phases of the construction process a temporary cover and leveling feet are supplied with the floor box. If the box is going to sit on anything but concrete it is highly recommended to purchase the FL-GRD2/4 pour pan as a foundation first.
Purchase from a wide variety of internal plates to meet your connectivity requirements. The box comes prepunched with six knockouts, four 1” or 1 1⁄4” in the audio/video section and two 1⁄2” or 3⁄4” in the AC section. The AV knockouts are located three on the rear and one on the right side. The two AC knockouts are on the rear and left side.
The box comes with a temporary construction cover but you can also purchase covers in a variety of colors to match your rooms decor.
