AtlasIED SFP-R - Semi-Flush Adapter - Red for Voice / Tone Speakers

On a fire alarm or emergency notification circuit, the color of a wall-mounted device often isn't a design choice, it's a code requirement. The AtlasIED SFP-R is the red-finished version of AtlasIED's semi-flush mounting adapter for VT Series voice/tone loudspeakers.

It is built for installations where local fire codes, AHJ requirements, or facility standards call out red housings for life-safety notification appliances. That makes them visually distinguishable from general paging or background-music speakers.

Functionally identical to AtlasIED's neutral-gray SFP-N, the SFP-R mounts behind a VT Series speaker and covers a standard recessed 4" square by 1½" deep outlet box. This provides the speaker a clean, flush transition into an existing electrical box rather than requiring new wall openings or custom bracketry.

VT Series speakers are designed for voice and tone emergency communications in public spaces, industrial facilities, and other environments where high-output, highly intelligible signaling matters during an emergency.

They ship in 8-ohm, 70.7V, and 25V configurations to match different distribution systems, with die-cast, water-sealed housings rated to withstand vandalism, moisture, corrosion, and vibration.

The SFP-R plate itself carries no electronics; it's a mechanical mounting accessory that lets integrators retrofit VT speakers onto existing recessed boxes on a fire or emergency circuit.

Construction and Specifications

Built from stamped, painted cold-rolled steel, the SFP-R measures 6" square by 7/32" deep and weighs half a pound, adding negligible depth behind the mounted speaker.
