Description
The Zigen HX-88/HDBT is a modular 8x8 4K digital matrix switcher, a modular matrix switcher consists of an empty chassis that allows you to purchase your desired input and output cards. Having the ability to buy your own cards means you get the connections that you need now, but can also buy more or change your cards in the future as your needs change. The matrix switcher has cards for HDMI in and out, and HDMI in and HDBaseT out. There are 2 different HDBaseT output cards, one supports distances of 229' while the other can reach out to 328'. Each card consists of 2 inputs and 2 outputs, up to 4 cards can be used in the Zigen HX-88/HDBT. The matrix switcher cards support HDCP 2.2 and HDMI 2.0 and resolutions up to 4K/2K, 30Hz, 24bpp, and 4K/2K, 60Hz, 24bpp with 4:2:0 pixel format.
Other features include advanced EDID management, IR functions, memory management for up to 8 presets, and an internal power supply for easy set up. The matrix also has your audio covered with support for high definition audio including Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS-HD Master. The switcher can be controlled via the front buttons and LCD panel, RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, and a included IR remote. Drivers are available for your favorite third party controllers such as Crestron, URC, RTI, AMX, Control4, BitWise, and Savant.
The Zigen HX-88/HDBT is a very robust modular matrix switcher with support for 4K, HDCP 2,2, and HDMI 2.0. Up to 4 cards can be populated in the matrix for your current and future needs, 2 in the left side and 2 in the right side. The cards are installed and tested before the matrix ships with a 1 day lead time.
