Description
The CR-100 from Pointmaker was designed as a quick to use, easy to install true plug-n-play Courtroom Annotation System for touch devices with a built-in scaler to 1920 x 1080p. This device was made to provide annotation to any video looped through the CR-100 when connected as an input (and output from) on a matrix switcher. It allows for judges, lawyers, witnesses etc.. to use a touch screen device to annotate or highlight over details in documents, photos, slides or AV images present on the display. The unit is based on a "1-in-1-out" concept (HDMI In/Out) making for a very simple straight forward installation. You can also quickly connect the CR-100 in smaller courtroom installations that use only a laptop or document camera. The CR-100 features a faster and smoother switching between AV sources connected to the Pointmaker, using refined technology and a simplified design for increased reliability and compatibility.
Control of the CR-100 has an array of options, not only does it work with hundreds of non-HID (Human Interface Device) devices, it also will recognize HID-compliant touch screens, allowing for a greatly expanded list of compatible models. It will support color printing through a Postscript printer, and you can save multiple annotated images to a USB stick, TFTP, or by setting up a Windows Share on your computer to make items ready for future viewing. This device is also HDCP compliant, has HDMI audio pass-through, and supports HDMI video up to 1920 x 1200 resolutions. The CR-100 comes with 12v power supply, USB keyboard, USB stick, rack ears (fits standard 19" space), and is backed by a 1 year warranty from Pointmaker.
