Description
The PT-110EDID from Kramer is a HDTV high-quality twisted pair transmitter for computer graphics video signals. It will convert a computer graphics signal into a twisted pair signal that is then converted back to a computer graphics video signal when used with a compatible receiver. This transmitter features EDID (extended display identification data) capture which allows it to copy and store the EDID from a display device. With a system range of up to 320' (greater distances possible depending on resolution and cable) this device is great for presentation and multimedia applications that may require long range graphics distribution, such as in schools, hospitals, stores, restaurant and security locations. Sync polarity settings are controlled with H & V switches for improved display compatibility with the CAT 5 outputs. A Power Connect System makes it so a single connection to the transmitter or the receiver powers both units when the devices are within 150' of each other. Longer distances will require the included external power supply. On the longer runs, this device was designed to be used with UTP or STP cable such as CAT 5. The maximum resolution of the PT-110EDID is up to WUXGA & 1080p. Featuring an ultra compact design, this device can be rack mounted side-by-side in a 1U rack space with up to three other units.
