The Kramer WM-8P-SUB is a high-performance 8" passive wall-mount subwoofer specifically designed for commercial installed audio applications. Combining a passive subwoofer, an integrated crossover, and a four-channel satellite speaker distribution hub in a single enclosure, it simplifies system design while delivering rich, powerful low-frequency performance.
Ideal for conference rooms, classrooms, hospitality venues, restaurants, retail spaces, houses of worship, and other commercial environments, the WM-8P-SUB enables complete audio systems using a single amplifier channel, reducing installation complexity, rack space, and overall system cost.
Simplified System Architecture
The WM-8P-SUB accepts a single mono amplifier input and separates the audio spectrum using its built-in passive crossover. Low frequencies are reproduced by the internal 8-inch subwoofer, while mid- and high-frequency content is distributed to up to four passive 8 ohms satellite speakers.
This unique architecture enables complete 0.1, 0.2, 2.1, 4.1, and 8.2 loudspeaker systems to be deployed without requiring an external crossover or DSP, resulting in faster installation, lower system cost, and improved reliability.
Because the WM-8P-SUB is designed to drive standard 8 ohms passive satellite speakers, no dedicated satellite speakers are required. Installers can pair it with Kramer's existing 4-inch ceiling and wall-mount speaker portfolio, simplifying product selection and enabling consistent system design across a wide range of commercial installed audio applications.
Installation FlexibilityThe WM-8P-SUB supports both low-impedance (8 ohms) and high-impedance (70V/100V)operation, making it suitable for a wide range of commercial installed audio applications. The desired operating mode is selected using the integrated rotary transformer tap.
For applications requiring increased low-frequency coverage or higher output, the dedicated Sub Loop Output allows additional WM-8P-SUB units to be daisy-chained from the same amplifier channel. This enables multiple subwoofers to operate as part of a single audio system while simplifying system wiring.
