Every well-built AV rack eventually comes down to the smaller components nobody notices until one fails. The Kramer PS-1202 is a compact 12V DC desktop power supply rated at 2A, designed as the factory-matched power source for the wide range of Kramer devices running on 12 volts.
When a scaler, extender, switcher or format converter arrives without a supply, or when an aging brick starts causing intermittent dropouts, this is the direct, manufacturer-sanctioned replacement.
12V DC output with universal AC input
Electrically, the PS-1202 accepts a universal 100240V AC input and delivers a clean, regulated 12V DC output with a maximum of 24W of available power. The universal input range means one part number covers installations in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific without separate regional inventory. It makes the unit a sensible spare to keep in a service vehicle or facilities closet.
The physical design is deliberately unobtrusive.
