Description
The FSR T3-IPS-RTMKT is a mounting bracket that adds retractable cable management to FSR's T3-IPS table box series. Sold as a separate accessory rather than a built-in feature, the bracket secures one FSR TBRT cable retractor inside a T3-IPS table box using an adjustable mount and detent pins.
This offers integrators the option to add pull-and-release cable retraction to a table box installation without needing a different table box model.
The FSR T3-IPS-RTMKT is compatible across the T3-IPS lineup, including black and almond finishes and both single- and dual-button/LED configurations.
Once installed, the retractor it holds works without a release button: a user simply pulls the connector cable out to the length they need, and a light tug sends it retracting back onto its internal reel. This helps to keep a loose cable off the tabletop between uses.
FSR rates the retractor mechanism for more than 8,000 extend-and-retract cycles, which is great for meeting rooms and training spaces where the same cable gets pulled out and put away dozens of times a day.
A single TBRT retractor extends roughly 4 feet from the top of the table and 7 feet from the rear underneath it, giving enough reach to connect a laptop from a normal seated position at the table.
Compatibility and Installation
The bracket is built to work with TBRT retractors carrying any of FSR's standard cable options HDMI, VGA (HD-15) with stereo audio, Cat-6, DisplayPort and Mini DisplayPort, stereo audio, and USB including USB-C.
Thus, the mounting hardware itself is cable-agnostic and the connector type is determined by which TBRT retractor is paired with it. Only one retractor fits per T3-IPS box using this bracket, though FSR also offers separate horizontal under-table mounting kits for installations that need to conserve interior box space.
