Description
The FSR SYM-DIN-2AC-1SS-AW is a dual-sided in-table connectivity box from FSR's Symphony line, built to deliver power and data access to both sides of a conference table from a single recessed unit. This does away with the ned for separate boxes for each seating position.
The configuration puts it in Symphony's compact "Frame A" size at 6.3" x 9.76" overall, carrying two AC outlets plus one snap-in insert kit that accepts FSR Simple Solutions and Hubbell keystone-style connectors. This makes it possible for integrators to populate that opening with whatever data or AV connector type a project calls for i.e., HDMI, Cat-6 network, or another keystone-compatible module. Thus they (technicians) arent locked into a fixed connector layout from the factory.
Installation is toolless as the unit drops into a prepared table cutout. The data and AV inserts install from the top side, which speeds up both initial installation and any future reconfiguration when a room's connectivity needs to change.
The combination of dual-sided access and swappable inserts makes it a practical fit for boardroom and conference tables where people sit on both sides and need power within reach without cables running across the table.
Construction and Specifications
The housing is solid aluminum with white inserts, chosen for durability in daily commercial use as well as a clean, neutral look that fits most conference room table finishes.
It ships with a 6-foot black power cord for connecting the AC outlets to under-table or in-table wiring, and is backed by FSR's 1-year manufacturer warranty.
Beyond conference tables, the Symphony DIN series is built for a range of similar surfaces boardroom tables, lecterns, control consoles, lab tables, classroom desks, and huddle-space work tables. It is perfect for anywhere a compact, dual-access power or connectivity point needs to sit flush within the surface.
