Description

The Avenview HDM-SPLITPRO-4A is a 4x1 high-performance HDMI Quad MultiViewer with rotation, Chromakey, and Audio. This device is used for multiview (quadview) for switching and compositing. It features four HDMI inputs that allows users to zoom in, rotate, and arrange all four sources in a custom defined configuration to be display within a single SD or HD monitor or display. The unit supports a full range of video resolutions up to WUXGA or Full HD 1080p with supported audio up to 8-channel LPCM with 192 kHz sampling rate for both input and output. Audio channels can be selected to playback with input or can be muted. Making this multiviewer scaler an ideal device to use in the ever fast growing industries of security, video conferencing, and viewing sporting events at bars or home theaters, why watch just one game at a time, when you can seamlessly display up to 4 inputs onto one screen with an array of multi-window layouts.

The primary features of the HDM-SPLITPRO-4A quad multi-viewer include Seamless Switching (Fade In Out), PIP/PAP/Overlay, Zoom In/Out, Channel Size and Position, Rotation and Mirror, and Chromakey. With seamless switching users will benefit from its processing power to seamlessly switch between the 8 different Hot key functions via IR remote, Telnet, Rs232 or front panel buttons. This device features PIP, PAP, and Overlay functions that make it so you can select picture in picture mode, picture aside picture or overlay one picture on top of the others using the supplied control software. Zoom In/Out gives the ability to Zoom In/Out any 4 HDMI input digital sources and then combine, (4) video signals onto a single HDMI HD Monitor. Rotation (90 & 180 degrees) and mirroring allows users to rotate and mirror images as they see fit. Finally, the device can be used for compositing and chroma key. In chroma key mode only two of the four inputs will be used, one serves as the foreground element and one the background, which is most commonly used in weather broadcasting type situations where someone is standing in front of a blue or green screen, or in entertainment industry type applications  for special effects in movies and video games.

To configure the multiview arrangement or manually switch between inputs there is an OSD (on screen display) that is accessible using front panel buttons, an Ethernet port for Telnet control, and an RS-232 port.
