This mountable attenuator unit features ten attenuation levels, each of which reduces the volume by 3 dB. The device has a positive off position apart from the lowest volume level. This design allows for consistent and repeatable volume settings. The attenuator is very useful in setups where different users might need to adjust audio levels according to their needs, but each user should only do so without compromising the overall system balance.
