Description
The AVPro Edge AC-MXMV122-UHD is a 4x2 matrix switcher with multi-view capabilities and other advanced features that go beyond a simple matrix switcher. The matrix can display full–screen, dual-view, tri-view, and quad-view on an HD or 4K (4:2:0) 8-bit UHD display. There are multiple inputs to choose from so you can have every type of connection covered, choose from HDMI, VGA, component, or composite video inputs. The seamless matrix switcher can be used in 3 different modes; a 4K quad video processor, a full HD multi-view video processor, or a seamless 4x2 matrix switcher.
Quad view mode allows you to put 4 images on 2 displays in 4K resolution. When in multi-view mode you can have up to 4 images on 1 display in and location and size on your display. Each Multi-view window parameter is completely customizable including layer priority, window positions, window size, background transparency, border color, and border pixel width. Seamless switching mode allows you to switch between the 4 pre-set inputs with zero delay or stutter. If not using the preset inputs in seamless mode you can use the matrix as a 16x2 multi-format matrix switcher.
For more advanced applications the unit can be easily cascaded and is control daisy-chained to create large and easy to control seamless switching or multi-view system environments of almost any size. The multi-format matrix viewer is fitted with two HDMI output ports for showing the multi-view image on two independently controllable HD/UHD channels simultaneously. There are 2 SPDIF audio de-embedders for each output if you need to connect up to your room's audio.
The matrix can be controlled via the front panel push buttons, the include IR remote, or RS-232. The AVPro Edge AC-MXMV122-UHD is a robust matrix switcher that packs a ton of features in only a 1 RU chassis at an affordable price.
