Description

The IN607 from Presentation Switchers is a HDMI / VGA Combo Input Card Board Assembly that has been designed for use with all PS600 series Modular Presentation Switcher Enclosures. This board is used to connect audio-visual source devices using HDMI or VGA connectors. The IN607 can provide HDMI resolutions up to full HD 1080p as well as 4K@24Hz, with the VGA interface being able to provide computer resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. By default the output from this card will auto switch to the most recent active signal plugged in, however users can switch between the two signals via front panel buttons on the enclosure. For example if you plug in an HDMI input from a laptop, the device will generate that output signal, if at a later time a VGA connector is hooked up, the card will auto-switch to that signal making the signal available for the enclosure to route to the appropriately selected display. 

INSTALLATION

Installation of the IN607 is quick and painless. The IN607 is a hot swappable card. To install the card, simply remove the single mounting screw that holds the IN600 Future Expansion Plate or other card where you plan to install the IN607. After removing the old plate, insert the new IN607 assembly. With proper alignment less than 1 foot pound of pressure is required to insert the card. Replace the screw to ensure the card is securely mounted in the chassis. Once installed, the system automatically recognizes the new board. No further activity is required. However, in some cases, it may be necessary to adjust the audio input trim to a nominal input level. See the Installation Manual for more details regarding audio input adjustments.
