Featuring the PS650 10x2 Modular Presentation Switcher Enclosure that features 10 available Input Card Slots (Input cards must be purchased separately) and two independent HDMI outputs. This completely customize-able Modular Digital Presentation Switcher from Presentation Switchers Inc. will support a wide variety of both analog and digital source devices to be output between two HDMI outputs up to 4K/30 at speeds of 3.2Gbps/channel. Thus providing users an exceptional platform from which they can completely provide for their current system needs, while at the same time future proofing their entire installations for field expansion and modification at a later date. As a completely flexible system the PS650 supports a wide variety of digital and analog signal formats including HDMI, VGA, DVI, DisplayPort, Composite, Component, and HDBaseT. In the future, as technologies advance, the PS650 can be field upgraded to support newer technologies with a simple upgrade of input and output boards.
The PS650 Digital Presentation Switcher, offers backward support for analog source devices where analog signals get converted to digital signals. This makes it so users can upgrade their display technologies to higher resolution screens, while at the same time supported a wide range of both current and older source devices. Another amazing feature is that the PS650 enclosure (system) is 100% field upgrade-able. End users can add or subtract cards as they see fit, all on the fly without unnecessary downtime for the customer. For control of the unit, Presentation Switchers Inc has provided a simple user friendly, One-Touch source selection on the front panel of the unit, with LED indicators located above each button to quickly identify the active selected source.
In regards to Audio capabilities the PS600 Series has provided a strong foundation to cover basic audio necessities. These audio features consist of volume control via a rotary digital knob on the front panel or via Ethernet, RS-232, or USB to adjust the speaker-level outputs or to adjust line level audio output in a "pre-amp" mode. If users need sound-reinforcement there is a optional integrated 100W Class D amplifier to aid in powering local speakers. In addition the PS650 provides a way for the audio inputs to be adjusted to temper or attenuate "hot" signals to a nominal level via front panel adjustments. This has been put in place to allow for varying degrees of audio found in -10dB (pro-audio formats) to 4dB (consumer formats). In addition a line level audio output has been provided for video conference feeds or when audio needs to be routed to a mixing board. Using the front panel settings, the output levels of the line out can be fixed or can vary depending upon the volume controls of the PS650 presentation switcher.
