Description
Kramer's VS-55V is a high-performance 5x1 switcher for composite video signals. This device is best used for any professional display systems requiring high quality video switching. It is also an ideal solution in video and audio production studios, as well as security, CCTV, and home theater systems, when needing to link multiple composite video players to one output. Control is through this device is either the 5 front panel buttons, or contact closure via the link connector. Switching happens during the vertical interval which ensures glitch-free switching with genlocked sources. This desktop, compact sized model, can be rack mounted with 2 units side by side in a 1U rack space, with the optional RK-1 rack adapter.
The VS-55V is a 5x1 so it features, 5 composite or 1 component video inputs, and 1 composite video or single component channel output, all on BNC connectors. The output can also be an EXT connector (RCA) for switcher extension. Has a video bandwidth of 150Mhz, maximum video output of 1.6Vpp/75 Ohms, and a video S/N ratio of better than 73dB. This model includes its own power supply, and has a power consumption of 12V DC. The VS-55V is covered under Kramer's 7 year warranty.
