Description
The Intelix DL-HFC-035F is a 35' active fiber optic HDMI cable that is plenum rated and features detachable heads for easy pulling. The transmitter and receiver on each end of the cable easily pulls off prior to pulling the cable or routing in extremely tight places. The ends do not require power so no external power supply is needed. The cable is capable of passing data rates up to 21.0 Gbps, video resolutions of 4K@60Hz is supported with reduced Chroma 4:2:0, multi-channel audio, 3D, HDCP, and HDCP 2.2.
The cable is extremely flexible and has a super thin diameter of only 5.8mm or .23 inches. When the heads are detached the end that is being pulled is only 10mm wide or .39".
The fiber optic cable is immune to electromagnetic and radio frequency interference which ensures optimal signal performance. The cable also doesn't generate any of these bad frequencies ensuring that your other equipment is safe.
This cable does require power from the HDMI receptacle. If plugged into passive junctions like a pass through HDMI wall plate or panel connector, the associated patch cable on the opposite side is recommended to be 2 meters or less in length. The patch cable should also be passive, without active chipsets. Longer lengths and active cables may cause insufficient power to be available to the DL HFC HDMI connectors. It is always recommended in any digital media application to test your setup prior to pulling cables in walls.
