Description
The HHD264-R from Hall Research is a high quality HDMI over IP Receiver. Part of the HHD264 series of economical HDMI over LAN (IP) senders and receivers which provide unrivaled power and simplicity to distribute one or more HDMI sources to multiple displays on any LAN. This system can connect up to 64 independent senders simultaneously connected through the network and up to 256 receivers can be accommodated. A Gigabit (1000 BaseT) network infrastructure is recommended to allow for up to 64 video streams to be transported, the system will work with 100 BaseT networks when using less sources. The latest H.264 encoding scheme with user definable bit rate will transmit Full-HD 1080p@60 video resolutions.
The HHD264-R will extend bi-directional RS-232 data as well as HDMI video and audio. Using a multi-cast group dip switch video routing from the senders and receivers can be pre-assigned, equally the system can also behave as a Dynamic Virtual Matrix Switch. If using a fixed signal from the senders to receivers, the user can just set the dip switches to route senders to any one group of receivers. Users can also on the fly switch the displayed source shown on any receiver, through the receivers IP address and accessing the WebGUI.
