Description
The VS-41HDCP from Kramer is a high-quality switcher for DVI signals. This device works by switching any of the four inputs to a single output, for example four computer graphics sources to a single display or monitor. Primarily this type of switcher is used in conference room presentations, as well as advertising applications or rental and staging setups.
VS-41HDCP's main features are: HDCP compliance and HDTV compatibility, four front panel input selector buttons, a maximum data rate of 6.75Gbps, 1080p resolutions and UXGA at 60Hz. This unit also contains a Mute button to disconnect the output and a panel lock button to prevent unwanted tapering with the buttons on the front panel. There is also a USB connector for setup and programming and this switcher features I-EDIDPro which is Kramer's Intelligent EDID processing. The I-EDIDPro technology is for handling and processing algorithms to ensure plug and play operation for DVI systems.
Control of the VS-41HDCP is through using the front panel buttons or remotely via: RS-232 serial commands transmitted by a touch screen system, PC, or other serial controller, Kramer's IR remote, Ethernet, or through remote control contact closure.
With a compact desktop size, you can rack mount 2 units side by side in a 1U rack space with the optional Kramer RK-1 19" rack adapter. This model comes with its own 5V DC power adapter, and is backed by a 7 year warranty from Kramer.
