Description
The VS-1616A by Kramer is a high-end 16x16 audio matrix switcher for balanced stereo audio signals. With the ability to route any or all inputs simultaneously to any or all outputs, this matrix switcher is an ideal solution for video broadcast studios for on-air switching and signal routing. Great for video production studios that have the need for connecting various sources to acceptors, as well as non-linear editing suite applications.
With a high quality balanced stereo audio at over 82.2dB signal to noise ratio this matrix switcher sends a very crisp stereo signal for use in the most demanding applications. Controls are achieved through either a remote operation via RS-232 and RS-485, or by the front panel of the unit, and has a user friendly LCD display making control even easier. The VS-1616A can recall up to 99 configuration setups via the non-volatile memory and provides for an unlimited quantity of setups when using the Kramer control software on your PC. Take Button is a feature that allows you to execute multiple switches all at once, which can be stored in Memory Locations as presets to be recalled and executed when needed. This product is also rack mountable and has been designed to fit into standard studio rack spaces. Can be used as a stand-alone device or expanded to up to a 96 x 96 input/output using multiple units. The VS-1616A can equally be configured into a Kramer multi-signal switcher system including digital and analog video, digital and analog audio, and RS-422 control switchers, and when integrated in a system all units switch in true audio-follow-video mode.
