Description
The VP-445 by Kramer is a high-performance 12x2 presentation switcher for HDMI, computer graphics, and composite video signals. This scaler/switcher can reach resolutions up to UXGA/1080p, and will scale video and gives the option to embed HDMI or analog audio. It will then send the signal to two HDMI (mirrored) outputs and S/PDIF and balanced stereo audio outputs simultaneously.
The VP-445 features Kramer's PixPerfect Scaling, a precision pixel mapping and high-end scaling technology. High-quality 3:2 and 2:2 pull-down de-interlacing and full up/down scaling of all video input signals. With constant output sync you will see no disruption on the output while switching between inputs and when no video is detected. This switcher scaler has 12 Video Inputs: 6 HDMI on HDMI connectors, 4 computer graphics video on 15-pin HD connectors, and 2 composite video inputs on RCA connectors. With powerful audio features via DSP technology including audio equalization, mixing, delay, and Companion AFV (audio-follow-video). There are 12 unbalanced stereo inputs on terminal blocks, embedded audio for the HDMI inputs, each with there own individual level controls. As well as 1 S/PDIF on an RCA connector output, one balanced stereo audio on a terminal block output and embedded audio on the HDMI outputs.
The VP-445 by Kramer is very easy to control and operate through front panel buttons, RS232, IR remote, OSD, Ethernet Web pages using UDP. The front panel controls can also mute and freeze frame, as well as perform a complete front panel lockout to avoid changes to the settings, a non-volatile memory will also save the final settings. This is the perfect switcher scaler system to be used in your conference room, boardroom, hotel or church with projection systems, as well as in home theater up-scaling.
