Description
The AC-SC1-AUHD by AVPro Edge is a HDMI 2.0a w/HDR & HDCP 2.2 4K Up/Down Scaler with Audio De-Embedder & Image Enhancer. This product was designed to be the ideal solution for high-end integrators and users who need the ability to distribute a 18Gbps signal to a wide range of displays while maintaining optimal picture quality. Having a 16 EDID settings to choose from, including custom user EDID option, this scaler comes ready to fix virtually all your EDID issues (including 4K HDR EDID's), while being able to upscale from 1080p to 4K and down scale 4K to 1080p.
The AVPro Edge 4K Up/Down Scaler comes with full HDR support allowing the end user the tools to activate HDR on any capable display regardless of what the infrastructure requires. AC-SC1-AUHD is the solution for 4K systems that are limited to the maximum resolution of the oldest display in the string, typically 1080p. Simply install this before the 1080p display/s and now you can have high-end 4K content on the capable displays while keeping the same content on your 1080p displays, no more "dumbing down" your entire system due to older model displays. With HDBaseT Compatibility mode this technology allows you to convert high bandwidth signals that are between 9Gbps - 18Gbps like HDR content, Gaming Systems, Media Players, and PC's. With the option to use long distance transmission devices like HDBaseT Extenders (AC-EX70-UHD) you can transmit HDR and high bandwidth signals while impacting the original image as little as possible.
Additional amazing features are the 2K to 4K video enhancement circuit which maximizes the viewing experience. L/R Audio De-embedding giving the option to through the audio output to strip the audio anywhere in the system and route it to where its needed most. Designed to work alongside AVPro Edge Matrix's allowing for the best resolution possible. Simple 3 button on device operation. Mini USB for firmware control. Wide range of supported audio formats.
