Group Collaboration for Touch Screen Video Conference Annotations
The PVI-500 from Pointmaker is a group collaboration video conference presentation system for use with Smart Touch Screens, and the Cisco Telepresence Systems. This device was designed to unlock the full potential of smart interactive displays in meeting room or video conference settings. The PVI-500 works by enabling users to retain full functionality of there touchscreens in video telepresence systems, and to control the images displayed on the screen with sizing gestures, and annotations on the display after switching video conference layouts. This device functions by maintaining the ability to perfectly map the displays windows whether they get resized or moved on the touchscreen. So when you shrink, add enlarge, or move a screen within the screen, it stays perfectly mapped to the PC. Otherwise without this device presenters will only be able to experience the already existing accurate touch functionality when the presentation is displayed full screen, if the screen is resized, moved, or splits into dual screen to show other members on the other end of the video conferencing call, the user will no longer be able to annotate or use size gestures on the part of the screen they are referencing.
The PVI-500 installs between your computer, and your smart screen, and can be connected to a Cisco Codec (not included) to add video conference telepresence functionality, for business meetings and group collaboration. This device is very easy to install and setup, and will unlock the full potential of your smart screen and Cisco video conferencing systems. By adding the Pointmaker PVI-500 between your computer and SMART display, you can switch to any layout and retain touch functionality on your smart touch screen display. This is because Pointmaker's auto-alignment technology works by correctly mapping the smart display coordinates to the PC by pre-mapping the original screen and maintaining perfect touch screen functionality. When you switch to a different layout you can still interact with the PC on the smart display, and you’ll get the results you want and expect every time to truly enhance and bring your video conferencing system to the next level of functionality.
