Description

The PT-1Ci from Kramer is a 4K compatible HDMI isolator security tool used for data sensitive HDMI installations such as in military and banking environments. It acts as an EDID buffer and storage device for HDMI signals that will prevent reverse communications of the DDC signal. The device will block HDCP and prevent EDID pass-through, as well it will let you read and capture an EDID securely and present it to sources for compatibility with the display. This device has no effect on the audio and video streams, and therefore, allows it to support 4K UHD video. The PT-1Ci features: a maximum data rate of 10.2Gbps, compliance with HDMI standards, HDMI input and output connectors, and EDID capture button and LED indicator. This device requires no power supply as power is supplied through the HDMI source, there is also a power LED that indicates when their is power present. By isolating the data channel the PT-1Ci keeps PC's secure from hacking through the HDMI lines.
