The Altinex VP500-102 is a universal digital HDMI to HDMI scaler.  You can use this scaler to to turn your HD or PC resolutions into a different HD or PC resolution.  This HDMI compliant device is ideal for taking your source resolutions or even types and converting them.  Press the button on the unit and it will bring up an easy to use on screen display to set your resolutions. Additional features include the ability to upscale the video signal from an HDMI source up to 1080p at 50/60, it accepts a wide range of input resolutions of 480i to 1080p (HDTV) and VGA to WUXGA (PC), supports an audio sampling rate up to 192 kHz, motion adaptive 3D deinterlacing algorithm, 3D noise reduction in both temporal and spatial domain, frame rate conversion, adaptive contrast enhancement, and supports CEC bypass.
