Description

The Kramer VM-2DT is a high-performance long range 4K60 4:2:0 HDBaseT Distribution Amplifier. This device works by utilizing one long-reach HDBaseT input that equalizes and reclocks the signal, to allow the signal to be distributed to two identical HDBaseT outputs. The VM−2DT distributes native long−reach HDBaseT signals with up to 4K video resolution, along with their re−extension over long−reach HDBaseT to feature integrated line−extender distributor product. Allowing this device to be utilized in native AV signal re-extension and distribution in larger spaces, for example in corporate, education, hospitality, or government market segments.

The VM-2DT offers signal extensions up to 230' at 2k resolutions and up to 130' at 4K resolutions, all with a transmitted data bandwidth of 10.2 Gbps. For HDMI Signal Transmission, this device complies with both HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 1.4, while supported deep color x.v.Color, lip sync, HDMI uncompressed audio channels, Dolby TrueHD, DTS–HD, CEC (OUT 1 only), 2K, 4K, and 3D. In addition this unit features I-EDIDPro, which is Kramer's intelligent EDID handling, processing, and pass-through algorithm to help ensure a true plug and play operation for HDMI source and display systems. The front panel of the unit contains LED status indicators for HDBaseT input and output connected signals, as well as for power, which aids in trouble shooting and ease of maintenance.

Easy installation options include: Twisted–pair cables for HDBaseT signals wiring. Compact Mega TOOLS fan–less enclosure for over–ceiling mounting, or side–by–side mounting of 2 units in a 1U rack space with the optional RK–T2B rack adapter. The VM-2DT comes backed by a 7 year warranty from Kramer.
