Description
Kramer's 6410N is a high-end format converter for digital audio signals. This unit works by converting AES/EBU, AES-3id, S/PDIF or TOSLINK optical digital audio signals to two channels of balanced audio and 1 headphone output. Primarily the 6410N format converter is used in audio broadcast & production studios, but is also a great addition to non-linear editing studios, multimedia and presentation format conversion, as well as being used in diagnostics of audio equipment during field operation, like in offsite reporting.
The 6410N has many high performance features including its ability to support multi-standards AES/EBU, IEC 958, S/PDIF and EIAJ CP340/1201 professional and consumer formats with sampling frequencies up to 96kHz, and provides automatic equalization and reclocking of the digital audio stream coming from any digital input. Other features include: it can automatically detect the sample rate of the digital input, ranging from 32kHz to 96kHz and has a selectable conversion ratio (D/A) settings, has a S/N ratio of over 88dB and has AES/EBU and AES-ID3 transformer coupled inputs.
The 6410N digital to analog audio format converter is 12V DC fed by its included power adapter, has a 7 year warranty from Kramer, and with its compact DigiTOOLS size enclosure 3 units at equal size can be rack mounted in a 1U 19" rack space using the optional Kramer RK-3T rack adapter.
