This kit is a single port USB 2.0 high speed extension solution, thus enabling USB 2.0 connections at up to 480Mbps over 330' using Cat5e cabling. The Ranger 2201 offers a remote single port USB 2.0 powered hub that delivers standard 500mA power and supporting all USB 1.1 and 2.0 device types including: high-speed web cams, hard drives, printers, scanners, audio devices, touch screens, digital cameras and game controllers. This plug-and-play solution is compatible with all the leading operating systems like Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, requires no software drivers, and offers a true transparent USB extension.
